So, you’ve made the choice to get a lip filler done. It’s a great idea and you can look forward to fuller, bigger lips and a resulting self-confidence boost. But now you might be wondering how to incorporate exercise after lip fillers.

The first thing to note is you’re not quite out of the woods yet. Don’t forget, you’ve technically just had a cosmetic surgery procedure, so you can’t just go rushing off as if nothing happened. There are rules to follow.

When it comes to exercise, you’ll probably want to know when you can be back in the gym. Thankfully, we can help with that.

Exercise After Lip Fillers?

So you’ll probably want to know when you can get back to your usual fitness routine once you’ve had your lip fillers. It’s not uncommon, but sadly, you’ll have to wait just a little bit.

At the very least, you will have to wait 24 hours before you can get back to pumping iron in the gym or running for miles. At most, you’ll have to wait at least 48 hours before you’re cleared for doing physical activity which is classed as strenuous.

The Science

Here’s the thing that you should probably be aware of if you’re going to have a lip filler done. The issue that you might not know about is that increased blood pressure or heart rate can directly influence the thinning of the blood, which will, in turn, cause you to have more bruises and welts on the face as a side-effect of the lip filler process.

This is really why you should avoid the exercise. As it is impossible to properly exercise without getting the heart rate up, you’ll find that you start to encounter these issues as soon as you exercise.

Take it Easy

So, basically, you need to make sure that you try and take it easy for a bit to get the best possible result. It’s definitely not going to be easy and it’s definitely going to make you have to try, but you need to make sure that you cut back on the more physically intensive tasks.

Light walking is pretty good, but you need to keep your heart rate down. It will help you a lot when it comes to getting the best possible options, and you just have to keep trying to do the best that you can when it comes to exercise without pushing it too far.

So, to wrap all of this up, you’ve got a good way to keep yourself in the best health while you’re recovering from a lip filler. Light exercise is the way forward here and so you need to make sure that you take the time to experiment with all of the different options to find what works for you. There are plenty of choices and ways that you can do things. It’s important to avoid heavy exercise to make sure that there’s no bruising. Aside from that, you should be good when it comes to getting back to your normal routine after 48 hours or so.
