This fitness tip is for sports performance. Try this movement to improve your food speed. I’m not 100% sure this will work and it sounds really annoying, but I figured it would be a good tip for you guys to try at least.

Riverdance
Riverdance!

Start with a medium stance, feet spaced roughly at shoulder width and hands at your sides.

Lift your right foot in front of you until you can touch it with your left hand. Repeat with the left foot and right hand.

Now lift the right foot behind you and touch it with your left hand. Repeat with the left foot and right hand.

Attempt to complete this movement as fast as you can for 30 seconds. Gauge progress by the number of touches you can get in the 30 seconds.

Repeat this movement for a total of four or five sets, two or three times a week.

It looks, feels, and sounds like I’m doing the Riverdance, but can someone else try this one and let me know if it works?

It seems like it could definitely improve hand-foot coordination and concentration, and it might even land you a spot on Broadway.

I could do without the gig on Broadway, but this is definitely something that will increase eye-hand coordination, as well as speed.

this seems like part of a good training regimen for foot speed, but mostly due to the flexibility involved. Two basic movements I know of that would be of great help would be anything incorporating the raising of the legs and/or calf movement. Things like box jumps, frog jumps, and jumping rope would all benefit foot speed. The ability for your calves to react quickly and get your feet moving is important, and things like jumping back and forth across a line or certain point can help this.
