Project Swole Redesign

February 16th, 2010 Posted in Business 12 Comments »

Hello everyone.

Please bare with me as I roll out the new design and functionality for Project Swole. There will be bugs and glitches, but I promise they will get worked out.

Please let me know what you like or dislike about the new layout, and if you discover anything broken, strange, or unexpected.

You will find most of the site navigation that used to be on the sidebar, now up in drop down menus at the top of the screen.

Thank you for your patience. Some great new content will surely follow, as soon as I can perfect the site.

Best,

Steve

Need Pure Whey Protein Powder?

If you are looking for a pure protein powder, check out Optimum Nutrition. Optimum Nutrition protein powder comes in about 20 different flavors, and is available in 1 lb, 2 lb, 5 lb, and 10 lb containers.

Need Amino Acids?

Glutamine and other amino acids are often more powerful than regular protein powder. Use Xtend Amino Acids to jump start your body in the morning, help provide energy during a workout, and stay anabolic while you sleep.

Need Nitric Oxide?

By increasing your blood content of Nitric Oxide, N.O. supplements enhance your pumps and provide additional energy for prolonged strength endurance. I find myself getting an extra 2-3 reps on every set when I’m using an N.O. supplement. Use N.O. Xplode to take your strength training to the next level.

Need Creatine?

Kre-Alkalyn has a higher absorption so it doesn’t require front loading and reportedly causes less creatine bloating and stomach problems. Kre-Alkalyn offers you a creatine supplement that is 100% stable, will not break down into creatinine, and will absorb efficiently into the bloodstream. Each gram of Kre-Alkalyn is equivalent to 10 grams of creatine powder.

I think the new layout looks really nice and is a major improvement compared to the other way it looks.

    What’s Up Steve!?

I am loving the new redesign. Everything looks kosher, and as always, i am eager to read about the stuff you post, because you don’t post b.s. stuff.

Anyways, my real concern, was that a couple days ago (Sunday) i visited your website, and my web browser kept trying to redirect me somewhere else after the page had loaded. Then my Avira Antivirus started waving red flags notifying me that there were viruses found on your page. This has also happened in the past when you were hacked and the website was down for a couple of days.

Sadly, it broke my heart to remove your website from my bookmarks bar, because i didn’t want to risk downloading a virus from your website. But, as it seems, everything is up and running again, and i am happy to see the new site redesign. Are there any added precautions to the redesign that will help you battle with hackers? As i visit your website every time i log on to my computer, i love to read the articles and am constantly consulting the Top 5 workout routines, but i would hate to see your website constantly being attacked by viruses.

Either way, you have helped motivate me to become a better, healthier person, so i am in for the long run. Long Live Project Swole, even if that means i hate to crack open the door and stick my hat out to see if the viruses are biting. LOL j/k

Thanks Josh. I’ve tried to lock down my files better, I’ve changed all my passwords, I’ve done everything I can think of to prevent hacking. Going to try to monitor the logs more often and will remove write permissions on nearly everything. That’s the best I can do for now. Hopefully we can stay clean for a while.

It’s looking really good so far. If you add a blogroll, don’t forget your friends over at PhitZone. :)

Hi Steve, I read your blog regularly and like Josh T I’ve been having trouble with redirects at home. At work our security system picks up and blocks the issue. Its telling me the issue is related to the URL topsitesfitness.com/button.php?u+stevehnsn Hopefully that can help you in getting things ironed out!
